The film industry too hasn’t been spared with film production & processing grounding to a halt with theatres shutting down indefinitely!

Those films that have been wrapped up in full with only their releases pending, filmmakers started exploring new pastures and up came the OTT Platform!

Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Zee 5, Netflix, Sony LIV etc - to name a few.

As a matter of fact, Amazon Prime Video has reportedly taken the lead!

There is already a lot of riding on the promos of PonMagal Vandhal, featuring Jyothika in the lead, the film bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, scheduled to be premiered on May 29th 2020 followed by another biggie- Gulabo Sitabo on June 12th with Amitabh Bachchan & Ayushmann Khuranna crossing swords!

A new project which will be helmed by K.S.Ravikumar to be shot within a time span of 25 days! Sathyaraj is believed to play the lead of this film. Vijay Sethupathi and R.Parthiban will make cameo appearances in this, scheduled to be released exactly in 2 months soon after the start!

Planned at a budget of Rs. 2 crores, funded by issue of shares, people only from the film industry will be able to buy shares to the tune of about 200 with a cap of 10 shares per individual buyer!
