Penned
& helmed by debutante, Barath Neelakandan, this psychological action
thriller set around a mysterious happening that throws the life of a filmmaker
into jeopardy!
Arulnidhi scores
brilliantly as Mathiazhagan an aspiring yet frustrated filmmaker who walks
right into troubled waters, in a drunken stupor, after he gets acquainted with
a self-obsessed writer, Malavizhi (Shraddha Srinath, a near portrayal!)). All
hell breaks loose when he accompanies her to her dwelling place only to find
himself tied up to a chair the next morning while Malar is found dead with her
veins cut!
However hard
he tries to recollect the happenings soon after getting acquainted with the
girl, he is able to recapitulate nothing! He desperately tries to know more about
her while realising the risk of letting the evidences of his presence lie as it
is!
Accidently,
he happens to hear the conversation of the neighbouring roommates & starts
wiping the evidences!
Who murdered
Malar & why is the crux of the rest!
The screenplay
is good enough but could certainly have been better!
Sam C.S.’s
music is noteworthy while G.K.Vishnu’s lens work is commendable.
Yogi Babu’s
appearance is effective though for a
brief while.
