Creating a breathtaking suspense thriller & delivering a social message too is no mean task! A remake of the Kannada hit by the same name, this bilingual in Tamil & Telugu has provided a perfect platform for Samantha who seems to be improvising in her portrayal, film after film! This one is indeed a milestone in her career as she has gone about her character as a journalist with tailor made perfection! Aadhi who was not seen around in Tamil films after Maragada Nanayam has staged a dramatic comeback through this film and he has fitted himself quite appropriately as an investigating cop! Narain too has made a comeback through this film in a neat cameo. Though his role is brief, Rahul Ravindran is quite impressive.

Kavin Bala’s dialogue s quite sharp at most places.  Niketh Bommireddy’s camera work lends credibility to the lightning paced proceedings! Suresh Arumugam has been very prudent with his scissors!

Rachana (Samantha Akkineni) who is professionally qualified takes up a job as a journalist purely out of her passion! She takes up the assignment of interviewing those who take a U-Turn in the middle of the flyovers as it is a prohibited offence! Very smoothly she gets drawn into a crime scene where the list of people whom she had tracked down is found dead, the cause being suicide! Though Chandrasekar (Aadukalam Naren) is not supportive his junior officer Nayak (Aadhi Pinisetty) lends her support. She is actually taken in for enquiry but is soon let out!

Rachana takes up the task of solving the mystery ably aided by Nayak.
The climax portions offer an unexpected twist to the plot that is not too very convincing!

Yet, the film moves at a rapid pace and the director’s acumen in narrating a suspense thriller is quite evident and is certainly appreciable!
